Hare & Hounds

The Hare & Hounds is a good, friendly traditional village pub. There is a wide choice of beers, lager and cider including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when i called in. It's a lovely cosy pub with a pool table and a dart board in the bar. There is a separate lounge and dining area and a beer garden.

Great pub in the village, large parking facilities. Flat so disabled can easily get in. First time going in, lit fire and nobody was in, staff made us feel welcomed. Booked a table for our evening meal. On return later, pub was buzzing, again staff lovely. The food was excellent, chef takes time and care, so if you are in a hurry it's not for you. Great selection of different dishes, which change regularly. We had the pie with all the trimmings, meat melted in the mouth. Only one choice of pudding, but it was amazing vanilla cheesecake with white chocolate and fresh strawberrys. If you are in the area its worth a visit.

Had a buffet lunch after a memorial service at Riccall church here today. Was absolutely brilliant so much choice for everyone and even catered for gluten free guests. Thank you so much Paul and family. We were so impressed were are going to come back for a cooked lunch soon.

Great food, nice beers and lovely staff. Big car park, within an awesome village, locals are very friendly.

Good old tradition pub. Tasty Sunday lunches very reasonably cost 11.

Very good food, and the host was very polite. Would definitely recommend this place.
